Refund policy


We hope you love your purchase from Stewed Fairy. If you're not completely happy, we're here to help.

Your Right to Cancel

If you buy from us online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it for any reason.

You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

Refunds will be made within 14 days of us receiving the returned item (or receiving proof that it has been returned).

Condition of Returns

Returned items should be:

  • unworn
  • unused
  • in their original condition
  • with any original tags attached (where applicable)

Please take reasonable care of the item while it is in your possession.

We reserve the right to make a deduction from your refund if the item's value has been reduced through handling beyond what would normally be expected when trying it on.

Return Postage

Unless an item is faulty, damaged or sent in error, customers are responsible for the cost of returning items.

We recommend obtaining proof of postage, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or we've sent the wrong item, please contact us within 30 days of receiving it.

We'll arrange an appropriate solution, which may include:

  • a full refund
  • a replacement (where available)
  • a repair (where appropriate)

We will also reimburse reasonable return postage costs for faulty or incorrect items.

Handmade & Upcycled Items

Many of our garments are handmade, upcycled or created from reclaimed textiles.

Small variations, visible repairs, slight colour differences and signs of the fabric's previous life are part of the character of these unique pieces and are not considered faults. We describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.

Exchanges

As many of our garments are unique, exchanges are subject to availability.

If you'd like a different item, the quickest option is usually to return your purchase for a refund and place a new order.

How to Return an Item

Please contact us first with your order number and the reason for your return.

We'll provide the return address and any further instructions.

Sizing:

Please check all measurements carefully before ordering. We're always happy to answer sizing questions.


Colours: 

Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.

Unique Items: 

Most Stewed Fairy garments are one-of-a-kind. Once sold, they cannot usually be replaced.
